Jack studied his Law degree at Swansea University, before completing his postgraduate Masters in Law combined with the LPC.
Jack began working for GloverPriest Solicitors in November 2020, starting out as Admin Support. His role was to support staff who needed admin help and to download and distribute mortgage offers through lender portals into the active case management system.
He worked closely with the Conveyancing team and began experiencing key areas such as the sale and purchase processes, building a stronger understanding of how the department operates in practice.
After developing in this area over a few months, Jack earned a new role as Legal Admin Assistant, where he improved his conveyancing knowledge and began learning the structure and legal procedure in more depth.
Jack later became a Paralegal, taking on more responsibility and more challenging work. His progression reflected the firm’s culture of recognising effort and rewarding development.
He gained experience across Wills & Probate, the Accounts team and the Family department. He was also appointed as the internal trainer for the firm, helping develop his communication, leadership and organisation skills.
GloverPriest provided the tools Jack needed to progress, leading to a Training Contract with the firm. He is now working towards qualifying as a Solicitor with one-to-one training, specialist courses and support from qualified colleagues.
